It’s the ‘On My Way’ Edition this week. I’m checking in ahead of my flights to Paris. Understandably, I’m loving everything about life. If I had to narrow it down though, it would be these that I love the most:
That sense of relief, excitement and anticipation when I’ve made it to the airport, checked in, cleared immigration and have nothing to do but wait…
School holiday fun with Master SSG.
Taronga Zoo is one of standing dates for the school holidays. There’s always something new to see and it’s always lovely to catch up with old friends like the koalas.
Finding a good park bench in the morning for a bit of stretching and general watching the world go by. Definitely a big fan of the early sunrises that spring brings to Sydney. Much more civilised to be sitting on a park bench with the sun up rather than when it’s still yet to make its appearance for the day.
I’m slowly rediscovering Country Road and the world of clothes shopping at bricks and mortar stores in general. It was nostalgic pushing hangers along the racks, looking for my size.
I emerged triumphantly! This wool skirt is going to be perfect for Paris. It’s warm and virtually crease-proof. It also looks so chic with flats. Please don’t tell anyone if I decide to accessorise with a beret, red lips and a breton top whilst I am away…..
