This week I’m lovin’ the simple joy of gelato bars. A branch of Anita Gelato recently opened at our local Westfield (Bondi Junction) and Master SSG and I finally got the chance to sample their wares over the weekend.
I love that ‘sugar wonderland’ vibe that rows of perfectly sculpted trays of gelato radiate.
So many flavours, colours, textures and possibilities.
And if it wasn’t already hard enough to choose your gelato flavour, the second half of the counter featured an array of toppings that run the full spectrum of 100% artificial flavours and colourings to
‘dark chocolate is good for you’
to ‘it’s topped with fresh fruit, nothing to see here’.
No prizes for guessing where we sat on the topping scale. At least it was mango gelato underneath…
