What can I say? I don’t think I’ve met a statement necklace I don’t like. Statement shoes can be painful to walk in while statement earrings tend to get caught in my hair. Don’t get me started on bracelets and bangles – I have a habit of banging them hard into things at the most inappropriate moment.

But necklaces? They tend to stay put around your neck and they’re a breeze to wear.

I’ve just discovered Australian hand made jewellery label, Louisarose and Co. Louisa designs and makes her jewellery in the Southern Highlands. She uses materials that range from sterling silver to agate, crystal and cattlebone. She aims to create pieces that are unique conversation starters and each design is produced in limited runs.
